What do you bring into your solitude and what flows from there?
Do you flicker there and do you wither?
Do you transform manure to fruits and gifts to debts?
Whom do you encounter in your inner space?
Do you embrace the healthy and the sick?
Do you celebrate the infant, the child, the grown-up and the old in you?
Do you greet the saint and the prostitute with equal compassion?
Yearn for unity and cast what you deem unworthy?
From dust and a child of God?

Where is your art coming from?
Is it art? A deepening of questions?
Making art or a direct expression of the inherent infinite?
Where is it heading? Yearning? Reaching? Finding?
Self-serving or pointing beyond itself?
To your Self or to your Ego?
Born of blood and spirit? Joy and suffering? Character and will?
Power and helplessness? Control and surrender? Growth and search?
Conceived by your high and low, ebb and tide, gold and mud?
A vessel? An end? A fire? A ray? A path? A destination?
Entertainment or necessity?
Confrontation or escape?
For show or for sure?

What is beyond Jerusalem ? What is beyond the Holy City ?
Beseeching Love and scorching Hate?
Holy Cost or Hollow Cost?
Search for God or will to power?
A conflict started by Yahweh and inherited by Abraham's descendants?
Exalting God by destroying His enemies?
Asylum from persecution and destruction of truth's refuge and hope?
Self-serving relativism or true work for human rights, justice, democracy and freedom?
Man's deep yearning to attain the divine or the very fall of Man?
God's will made human or Man's made religious?
Sanctified or blasphemous?
Martyrs or murderers?
Kosher or Halal?
